Swimming Pool

Use of the pool by residents is allowed during normal hours of operation which are:  April 1st through September 30th, from the hours of 9:00 am through 10:00 pm.  Children under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult.  Young adults between the ages of 12 and 21 must use the “buddy system”, meaning that no one in this age group may swim alone.

BridgeWater Pool – Rules:

General Rules.  The pool and other recreational facilities may only be used by BridgeWater residents (and their guests) who are current in the payment of their association dues.

Lifeguards.  The Homeowners’ Association does not provide lifeguard service; it is the responsibility of the resident to supervise the activity of his/her family and guests (i.e., swim at your own risk).

Dates of Operation.  The pool is generally open from April 1 through September 30 (subject to inspection by Fulton County)

Times of Operation.  The pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  Pool facilities may be closed at any time for maintenance or repair as determined by the BridgeWater Homeowners’ Association.

PetsNo pets are allowed in the pool area.

Conduct.  Diving, running, jumping, playing ball, or noisy behavior that disturbs other residents is strictly prohibited.  Stereos or loud radios are not allowed.

Glass.  Glass containers or breakables of any sort are prohibited in and around the pool area.

Alcohol.  The legal consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed.  However, discretion is suggested, particularly if young children are present.

Safety Equipment.  Safety equipment (i.e. life ring, poles, etc.) is for emergency use only.

Security.  The pool gate should be secured by the last person entering or leaving the pool area.  The clubhouse bathroom doors should be secured and the lights turned off if no other residents are using the pool or tennis courts.

Floats & Pool Toys. The Board would request that any pool floats or toys brought into the pool area should be promptly removed when you leave the pool.

Pool Umbrellas. Please close pool umbrellas when you leave the pool.

Sanitary Regulations.

  • Bathers should shower before entering the pool.
  • Bathers should shower after applying suntan oil or lotion, before entering the pool.
  • Admission to the pool can be refused to anyone with colds, open infections, or anyone wearing bandages.
  • Children not potty trained must wear protective covering over diapers or wear “swim diapers”.
  • Street clothes are not permitted to be worn while in the pool.
